Retest for CRPF Recruitment in local language itself
Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy lashed out and the central government has once again cheated the Kannadigas. Kannada was not allowed in the Central Reserve Force (CRPF) recruitment computer test held on Sunday. Examination is allowed only in Hindi and English language. HD Kumaraswamy also expressed his outrage through a tweet saying that this is condemnable.
In a series of tweets about this, he said that this examination was conducted for 9212 posts, including 466 posts in Karnataka. Tragically, the candidates who wanted so many posts wrote the exam in Hindi and English. It is necessary to write in this language.
He expressed outrage that refusing to write in the mother tongue is an insult to the Constitution.
All the recruitment tests conducted by the Central Government are conducted in Hindi and English only. Hindi centric recruitment process is not only depriving other speakers of jobs, it is also malicious to impose Hindi by suppressing foreign languages. This is clear.
Kumaraswamy is of the opinion that this is a fatal blow given by the Center to the union system. Karma of people of South Indian states who have to write exams in foreign languages to get jobs in their states. He lashed out that the central government continued to impose Hindi even though all southern speakers including Kannadigas continued to oppose this. CRPF should re-exam without delay and candidates should be allowed to write in all languages of the country including Kannada. Otherwise, this discrimination and imposition of Hindi will be the beginning of another big struggle, the former chief minister has warned.
